Tiramisu Pudding Cups Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Cream Layer:
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Coffee Layer:
1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)
For the Base:
12 ladyfingers, broken into pieces
Cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Coffee Layer:
Brew a strong cup of coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature. Stir in the sugar and coffee liqueur (if using), then set it aside. - Prepare the Cream Layer:
In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese together with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined. - Assemble the Tiramisu Cups:
Begin by placing a layer of broken ladyfingers at the bottom of each serving cup. Drizzle the coffee mixture over the ladyfingers, ensuring they are thoroughly soaked but not overly soggy. Add a layer of the mascarpone cream mixture on top of the soaked ladyfingers. Continue layering, finishing with a final layer of the mascarpone cream on top. - Chill and Serve:
Cover the cups with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight to allow the flavors to develop. Just before serving, dust the top of each cup with cocoa powder.
