- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon melted butter (optional for brushing on top)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a mixing bowl, blend together the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles on a flat surface.
- Spoon a generous portion of the chicken mix onto the wider end of each crescent triangle.
- Gently roll the dough from the wide end to the point, ensuring the filling stays tucked inside. Place each roll up on the prepared baking sheet.
- If desired, brush the top of each roll up with melted butter. This will give a beautiful golden glow and add extra richness.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped.
- If you’ve chosen to garnish, sprinkle a little chopped fresh parsley over the hot roll ups for a burst of color and freshness.
