Tiramisu Pudding Cups Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Cream Layer:
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Coffee Layer:
1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)
For the Base:
12 ladyfingers, broken into pieces
Cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Coffee Layer:
    Brew a strong cup of coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature. Stir in the sugar and coffee liqueur (if using), then set it aside.
  2. Prepare the Cream Layer:
    In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese together with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
  3. Assemble the Tiramisu Cups:
    Begin by placing a layer of broken ladyfingers at the bottom of each serving cup. Drizzle the coffee mixture over the ladyfingers, ensuring they are thoroughly soaked but not overly soggy. Add a layer of the mascarpone cream mixture on top of the soaked ladyfingers. Continue layering, finishing with a final layer of the mascarpone cream on top.
  4. Chill and Serve:
    Cover the cups with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight to allow the flavors to develop. Just before serving, dust the top of each cup with cocoa powder.
